Welcome to Ulverstone High School

Ulverstone, situated on Tasmania's North West Coast is a centre of 15,000 people serving a rich agricultural area. Ulverstone High School caters for 600 students from Grade 7 to 10. The Science, Art and Gymnasium facilities have recently been re-developed and are being enjoyed by students and staff. The grade 7 area has been updated towards the end of 2008. During Term 3 2008 the school will be upgrading the IT infrastructure and be implementing new technology, including Smart Board Technology to support teaching and learning via a $113,000 Federal Grant.

The school has a vision of developing excellence - in academic life, in sport, in life beyond school and in relationships. High expectations are expected of all within our school community. It has a commitment to the student, parent, and teacher partnership. The School Association has played a major part in the development of the school plan. It oversees policies relating to budget and finance, site and maintenance, and curriculum. Our Parents and School Association continue to strongly support the school, as does the local community.
